This is really just a test, to see whether this picture will appear in the blog. After all, a big part of the point of this is to be able to upload some pictures instead of just sending text. The picture is a detail from a mural in a playground in Estelí, Nicaragua, where I'm about to spend three weeks learning Spanish (again!). If this works, I'll be able to upload the occasional picture for the parents and friends of the group to see while the students of the Champlain St-Lambert Nicaragua Brigade are in Managua / Niquinohomo / Las Crucitas.

Most of what goes on here is related to my classes - but some of it just isn't. Look for your course title at the beginning of a blog entry or in the tags (check the archive unless you just want to read everything). If you're a student of mine and you want me to address something, then make a comment, send an email or talk to me in person. I'll try to produce something useful. When commenting, if you want to be identified you can click on the "other" button under "Choose an Identity" in the comments window... and enter some name or other. Why not? (Of course, if you really want to be "anonymous", who am I to stop you? Be free. Be creative. Be ... anonymous if you like.)
